I grew up in my father’s music shop and was teaching guitar when I was 8 years old. Though I left teaching behind years ago to pursue my professional career, I’ve always liked teaching and sharing what I know with others. And now that I’m semi-retired, why not… What else am I gonna do? ;0)
My approach to teaching guitar is based on my passion for playing and the magic of making music. I feel that focusing on rhythm, melody, harmony, and strong chord fundimentals are the keys to unlocking the wonder of guitar.

Country Electric
There’s nothing more “country” than a twangin’ Fender telecaster. Studying some of the master players and licks that have defined the genre, we can focus on bends, double-stops, chicken pickin’, and other techniques.

Worship Guitar
Do you play music in church? Worship music is heard weekly everywhere. And the guitar is at the forefront of this popular genre. We can explore current acoustic and electric techniques, song specific parts, and how to dial in great overdrive and ambient tones that define this powerful music.

One-on-one virtual lessons from anywhere in the world. Have questions afterwards, send me a email, or better yet, a video of what you’re working on and I’ll offer tips and suggestions as a follow-up to our lesson(s).
Day long or half day in-person immersion sessions available in Florida.
Lessons are taught virtually using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Facetime or Google Meet. In person lessons may be available in Florida. Space is limited.
